OVERVIEW
Dolphin.fm is a Web3-focused AI agent powered by a domain-specific LLM. It assists crypto investors with knowledge discovery, personalized guidance, and a seamless one-click investment experience. The mission of this project is to build the platform from the ground up, including onboarding flows, the homepage, trading interface, portfolio and market trends pages, a marketing landing page, and an overall visual design system.

The crypto investment landscape is highly volatile, rapidly innovative, and full of diverse opportunities, attracting both seasoned investors and newcomers.
However, retail users face significant challenges: Information Overload and Operational Complexity.
Current AI and Tech Development
Recent advancements in Large Language Models (LLMs) and AI mark a new era of innovation. Latest LLMs have evolved from simple predictors to sophisticated tools for better NLP, information gathering, and summarization. However, they still struggle with independent reasoning and self-discovery.
Therefore, the best current use case is as a search and answer.
Competitors
Based on previous research, I selected Mlion.ai, Binance, and Bonkbot as references to explore how AI agents can enhance the investment experience.

What I learnt
How to communicate with stakeholders
When clients hesitate, presenting multiple design options helps them explore possibilities. UX designers guide stakeholders by turning abstract ideas into clear visuals, improving understanding and aligning the team’s vision.
Web3 fintech products differ from traditional ones
Web3 fintech introduces unfamiliar concepts like wallets and decentralized protocols, requiring a fresh approach to onboarding, simplified flows, and designs that build trust while balancing innovation with usability.
Keep learning and understanding domain knowledge
Balancing user education with simplicity is crucial in crypto UX. Designers must first grasp complex concepts and continuously stay updated, as domain knowledge evolves with the fast-paced nature of Web3 and AI.
